MEVA’s falsework systems offer a solution for safe, fast, and space-efficient work at height and for constructing heavy slabs. A key feature is the high load-bearing capacity of each prop, which reduces the need for closely spaced supports. This allows for a reduction in the number of columns required compared to traditional methods.
This article highlights MEVA products and case studies of their use in the field.

This falsework tower is suitable for safely and swiftly supporting heavy slabs at elevated locations.
MT 60 is characterized by high strength capable of supporting a load of approximately 60 kN (about 6 tonnes) per prop. MT 60 is well suited for supporting thick concrete slabs and long-span structures that create spacious, column-free areas such as gymnasiums and theaters.
With its straightforward design requiring no special tools, the MT 60 tower can be lifted by crane and moved to the next construction zone while still assembled. By using a dedicated transport cart (base with casters), enabling smooth horizontal movement across the floor, even indoors where cranes cannot be used.

EuMAx Pro is the ideal solution for organizations seeking to standardize material types while streamlining inventory management and procurement processes.
EuMax Pro series is designed to accommodate a wide range of heights, from 98 cm to a maximum of 550 cm. There is no need to prepare multiple types of props for each site, as its adjustment range covers typical building ceiling heights in most projects.
It complies with EN 1065 and meets relevant safety requirements by design.
Additionally, EuMax Pro is equipped with a self-cleaning external thread that automatically removes concrete fragments and sand stuck in the threads. This prevents screws from seizing, there by reducing maintenance effort.

MEVA systems were used to build a wildlife crossing bridge over a highway in Hungary.
The concrete floor featured a large curve, creating challenging conditions as the falsework layout and heights had to change continuously along the curve. With conventional methods, crews often need to dismantle and reassemble the support structure repeatedly to follow the curve—adding significant labor.
MT 60 was used to solve this problem. Instead of disassembling the tower, the team slid the fully assembled MT 60 on a caster-equipped base to the next position, significantly reducing preparation time.
MEVA products were essential in completing the project within the tight schedule.

This is a case study of the construction of a Y-shaped hotel near Vienna, Austria. It was a complex design in which the length of the portions where the floor protrudes outward (cantilever) varied on each floor of the building. The construction utilized a falsework tower based on MT 60.
MT 60 features a modular design that allows its configuration to be adjusted to the site conditions by combining standard components with optional ones. The tower assembly was flexibly adapted to suit the unique Y-shaped geometry of the building, as well as the varying floor layouts on each level.
This achieved safe and efficient construction without compromising the unique design of the building.
MEVA supports contractors and project teams with consultancy and planning services from the early project stage. The company helps with everything from basic 2D planning to BIM-based construction planning, making it easier to prepare efficient falsework and formwork layouts for projects of different sizes and complexities.
MEVA also provides on-site support to help improve execution on active construction sites. Backed by experience from international projects, its team assists with technical issues, system use, and project-specific requirements, helping customers work more safely and efficiently during construction.
