Situations suitable for Heavy Duty Shoring Towers MK

These towers are high-load capacity falsework systems suitable for supporting heavy structures in civil engineering projects. The modular design allows for the combination of components ranging from 0.75 to 3 meters, enabling configurations that adapt to on-site conditions.

The MK-360 is suitable for bridges and large structures, the MK-150 is used for low-height falsework for beams and slabs, and the MK Prop is suitable for auxiliary support in confined spaces. Situations suitable for Aluminium Prop ALUPROP

This is a high-load capacity aluminum prop system compliant with European Standard EN16031. Despite being lightweight, it possesses high strength and is suitable for a wide range of applications, including slab formwork and beam support.

A standalone tower can be constructed up to 6 meters in height, and up to 12 meters with extensions or interconnections. Equipped with self-cleaning screws and a fall prevention structure, it is also designed with safety in mind.

The system can be assembled at ground level and installed by crane, reducing working at height and improving efficiency. It is suitable for situations where rapid support is required, such as construction sites and bridge projects.

The Comuneros II Bridge, a 724-meter-long cable-stayed bridge constructed in the Junín Region of Peru, adopted ULMA’s MK Heavy Duty Shoring Towers.

During the construction of the bridge deck, six MK towers with a height of 15 meters were installed at 62-meter intervals for each span. These towers functioned as a stable falsework system to support heavy loads, enabling the construction of the composite concrete and steel deck.

Case study on the construction of the National Police Hospital

At the National Police Hospital constructed in Lima, Peru, a variety of formwork and falsework prop systems provided by ULMA were implemented.

The project consists of a six-story hospital building and a four-level parking facility. To meet the demands of complex slab and beam construction, systems such as ENKOFLEX beam formwork, ALUPROP towers, and BRIO falsework were used in combination. With careful consideration given to energy-efficient design and seismic resistance, more than 1,000 tons of equipment were deployed efficiently throughout the project. In addition, the reuse of formwork systems contributed to reducing environmental impact.
